We do not make any profit on selling electric motors and offer a 3 year warranty to our customers despite only receiving a 1 year warranty ourselves. Why? They are a great child safe feature. We have very few problems with the motors but 98% of all contact from customers post installation regarding motor operation is down to user error. For that reason, we have very strict terms and conditions in relation to what support we offer.

INITIAL SETUP AND PAIRING OF REMOTE CONTROLS TO YOUR BLINDS

When your blinds are installed, we will setup and pair the remote controls for you, including setting your “favourite” position.

TIMER REMOTES

If you have elected to have a TIMER REMOTE, we will NOT setup the times for the blind to be operated. We will provide you with instructions on how to do this.

REPLACING A FAULTY MOTOR

If you experience a faulty motor, we will replace this under our 3 year warranty program and reprogram any remote controls as necessary. We will send a fitter to your property to do this within 14 working days, although we will try to expedite this. However, our fitting diary is usually full 2 to 3 weeks ahead of time so this will not always be possible.

USER ERROR

If your motor loses its settings as a result of you allowing the battery to remain in a very low state of charge, we offer full instructional videos online as to how to reprogram your remote control. We will NOT send a fitter back to do this for you as a matter of course. If you find yourself in real difficulty, we will do our best to help you but we will charge for a fitter to attend your property and reprogram the blinds for you. 98% of all contact with us post installation regarding motors, comes down to user error.
